Common questions
The app crashed.
Restart your iPhone, update to the latest iOS, and update Soft Day from App Store. If the crash repeats, email us with: iPhone model, iOS version, and what you did right before the crash.
Voice input doesn't work.
Check that microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are granted: Settings → Soft Day → enable Microphone and Speech Recognition. Voice input requires an on-device speech model — most newer iPhones have this for English by default; very old devices may not.
I can't see my entries anymore.
Soft Day stores entries on your iPhone. If you reinstalled the app, entries from the previous install are gone unless you restored from iCloud Backup. We do not have a server-side copy.
I subscribed but the app still shows the paywall.
Tap "Restore purchases" on the paywall. If that doesn't help, force-quit the app (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen. If still stuck, email us with the date of subscription and the Apple ID you used.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Soft Day Weekly → Cancel. You can cancel any time. Existing entries remain readable in the app after cancellation; only the ability to add more than 5 lifetime entries is gated by subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Use Apple's "Report a Problem" page: reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds because we never received your payment — Apple did.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete the Soft Day app from your iPhone. That removes all local entries. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, Apple may still hold a backup copy for some time; you can manage this in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Backups.
What about privacy?
See Privacy Policy. Short version: we do not collect any data; entries stay on your iPhone; voice is transcribed entirely on-device; we have no server.
