Mortise. Last updated 2026.
Mortise is a compatibility check for two consenting adults deciding something real together. Its report is material for a conversation — a set of topics, conditions, and talking points.
Mortise is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, not therapy, and not a substitute for a qualified specialist. Some of the scales are the authors' own, experimental, and undergoing validation; they are marked as such in the app. Do not use the report to make irreversible decisions about another person without your own judgement and, where appropriate, professional advice.
Mortise is free to use. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. There is no account to create and no data held on any server.
Both people give informed consent before their first question, including who will see the report. Answers transfer only with that consent, and only phone-to-phone.
Mortise is provided "as is", without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Hadger is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a Mortise report.
