Effective 2026. Gnomon is made by Hadger (IP Shmigirilov).
Gnomon has no server and no analytics. Your location is used only on your device, to compute sun and moon times, and is never transmitted, stored remotely, or shared. Saved spots live in the app's local storage on your iPhone or iPad.
App Store purchases (Apple StoreKit) and, only when you search for a new place by name, Apple's MapKit place search. Everything else — the day card, widgets, Live Activities, the calendar — works in Airplane Mode.
Data Not Collected. There is no account, no identifier, and no tracking of any kind.
Any saved spot can be removed in the app at any time; deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
