Gnomon refuses to predict. There are no "sunset quality" scores and no forecast layers — only exact times from the same published solar and lunar mathematics used in almanacs (NOAA / Meeus). - Does Gnomon need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up and no login.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. All light times are computed on the device. Only the App Store and place search need a connection.
- How accurate are the times?
- Sunrise and sunset match published almanac values to within about two minutes; golden and blue hour use documented solar-elevation definitions you can read inside the app.
- Is this a weather app?
- No. Gnomon shows what is exactly computable — sun and moon times. It never guesses about clouds.
