Aplomb

Rehearse it out loud.

A live rehearsal meter for the talk that matters — an interview answer, a toast, a pitch. Put the phone in front of you, pick the moment, and watch yourself settle. Everything is analyzed on your iPhone.

Coming to the App Store

An instrument, not a course

No lessons to tap through, no quiz, no AI coach persona. You pick the moment and start talking. A calm dial shows your words per minute against the comfortable speaking band. A quiet counter notes filled pauses. Long silences render as space, not alarms.

Rehearsing — 1:12 · 148 wpm

One honest page

When you stop, you get a single report: your pace curve, your pause map, your filler count, and how this run compares to your last one. Numbers and curves — never a grade, never a judgment.

Watch yourself settle

Rehearse the same answer a few times and the convergence view overlays your runs — oldest dim, newest bright — so you can see a week of practice actually working.

Private, literally

Questions

Is my audio recorded?
No. Speech is measured live on your iPhone and the audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Aplomb works identically in Airplane Mode.
Is this therapy?
No. Aplomb rehearses a skill. It is not therapy, speech therapy, or medical advice, and makes no clinical claim.
Does my data leave my phone?
No. There is no account and no server. Your rehearsal metrics stay on your iPhone; transcript text is kept only if you turn that setting on. The only network traffic is Apple's App Store for the subscription.
What do I get free, and what is paid?
The first full rehearsal and its report are free, and your history is always free to read. A subscription or the one-time lifetime unlock adds unlimited rehearsals and the convergence view.
