Trivet

Privacy Policy

Effective 11 July 2026.

Everything stays on your iPhone

Trivet collects no data. Photos you capture and the recipes Trivet reads from them are processed on your device by Apple's Vision and Foundation Models frameworks and stored only in the app's local storage on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, or shared — Trivet makes no network connections of its own, and capture works in Airplane Mode.

No account, no analytics, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no account. Trivet contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you. Our App Privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Camera

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a recipe, and images are processed on-device. Choosing a photo or screenshot uses Apple's photo picker, which shares only the images you select.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Your data is portable and deletable

Settings → Export all recipes produces your entire recipe box as portable files (free, always). Settings → Delete all recipes permanently removes everything from the device. Deleting the app deletes all its data.
