One person, one desk, one app at a time.
I'm Vassiliy Shmigirilov. I'm a pensioner, and I live in Kazakhstan.
Every morning I sit down at my desk with a cup of tea and I build iPhone apps. I started in May 2026 with one small self-care journal. Today nineteen of my apps are live on the App Store, and four more are waiting in Apple's review queue.
The apps are small, calm, and private. A voice journal that never uploads your audio. A scanner that turns your grandmother's handwritten recipe cards into a cookbook. A keepsake of the night sky exactly as it stood over the hour your child was born. None of them show ads. None of them collect data. Everything runs on your phone and stays there.
People ask how one retired man ships this much. I use AI coding tools the way a carpenter uses power tools. The taste, the decisions, and the mistakes are mine.
I'm not asking for anything. If one of these apps looks useful to you, download it, or show it to a friend who needs it. That's the whole business plan.
